Milan and Melbourne are happily celebrating this year the tenth anniversary of their solid friendship based on their shared commitment to enhance the quality of life for their people. They both love food, fashion and arts, and it seems they do not want to lose any chance to strengthen bilateral relations in these areas.
The Italian touch of the gala dinner organized for the beginning of the Melbourne Spring Fashion Week further confirms this attitude: many representatives of the local Italian community were invited to the event and all tables were decorated with Italian products. Proving its loyalty to its major Italian friend, the City of Melbourne recently confirmed it will join Expo 2015 together with the State of Victoria.
