Umbria Jazz Festival as an iconic event for jazz lovers
From North to South, Italy boosts festivals all over the Peninsula
The well-known and "not to miss" International Jazz Festival in Italy is the Umbria Jazz Festival. The two hosting cities will be Orvieto (from 30th December 2015 to 3rd January 2016) and Perugia (8th to 17th July 2016).
A number of performances will be free and they will have as protagonists popular names of the current Jazz panorama. Namely, artists like Jarrod Lawson, Fabrizio Bosso and bands such as Funk Off and Dirty 6 will liven up Umbrian nights.
Umbria Jazz Festival has become a real institution nowadays, having 42 years of history. In fact, the first edition was launched in 1973 and its success proudly continued over the decades.
