The European Union new initiative to support small companies
237 million Euros will support 20.000 micro-enterprises
The European Commission together with the European Investment Fund (EIF) have launched a new support program for micro-enterprises.
The main concept is that 20.000 micro-enterprises will have access to the dedicated funds, for a total value of 237 million Euros. This initiative is framed within the European Program for Social Employment and Innovation and the main authorities cheerfully welcomed it.
In fact, micro-enterprises are considered the "economic engine" of many European countries and therefore, supporting them is a priority. This EU initiative is currently raising lots of optimism: according to recent forecasts, it is expected to mobilize a 500 million Euros lever action within the period 2014-2020.
