Bob Dylan: "The cutting edge 1965-1966" nei negozi il 6 novembre

Il 6 novembre l’epopea dylaniana, che consta di 36 album in studio, 11 bootleg e innumerevoli raccolte,  si arricchirà di un nuovo capitolo con la pubblicazione di The cutting edge 1965-1966: the bootleg series vol. 12.

Tra il gennaio del 1965 e il febbraio del 1966 Bob Dylan(che si esibirà in Italia il 18 e il 19 novembre all’ Auditorium Manzoni Bologna  e il 21 e 22 novembre Teatro Arcimboldi di Milano)ha inciso la sua celebre “trilogia elettrica” formata dai capolavori Bringing it all back home, Highway 61 revisited e Blonde on blonde, suscitando le critiche e le invettive degli integralisti del folk, che non accettavano l’uso della chitarra e dell’armonica amplificate.

I demo, gli outtakes e le versioni alternative di quel periodo così creativo e avventuroso, che in molti considerano il migliore della sua cinquantennale carriera, saranno raccolti per la prima volta in The cutting edge 1965-1966: the bootleg series vol. 12, proposto in tre edizioni: 2 cd, 6 cd e in ben 18 cd (quest'ultima conterrà alcune tracce bonus in esclusiva rispetto alle altre due).

Tra le chicche segnaliamo i brani di Blonde on blonde incisi prima della collaborazione con i musicisti di Nashville e una versione di Visions of Johanna con un testo diverso da quello che tutti conosciamo.
