Starhotels, the best hotel chain in Italy
The “Best Hotel Italy” award offers reliable recommendations in terms of quality of services and attention to details
While planning a holiday, it is not always easy to find the best accommodation online. Accordingly, to help tourists planning a trip to Italy, Trivago.it, one of the world's largest hotel search website, has launched the "Best Hotel Italy" award.
Aiming at offering reliable recommendations in terms of quality of services, attention to details, and conformity between the image these hotels are used to advertise online and reality, the Best Hotel Italy 2013 has been assigned to the Italian chain Starhotels, founded in 1980 by Ferruccio Fabri.
Starhotels was followed by many foreign chains, such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts; Starwood Hotels & Resorts; Best Western; Marriott; Accor Hotels and NH Hotels. Other Italian chains were UNA Hotels & Resorts (3rd position); Sina Hotels (6th position) and Atahotels (10th position).
