Ravello is getting ready for its famous Festival
Extraordinary music on stage from March to October
The Ravello Festival, also known as the "Italian Wagner Festival" is a famous annual summer festival of music and the arts held in the town of Ravello on the Amalfi coast. The festival has been held yearly since 1953.The event includes a wide variety of music featuring large orchestras, chamber groups, jazz, art shows, dance, photographic exhibits.
The new season will kick off on Friday 18th March, with the piano recital by Fabrizio Romano, "whose technical prowess and compelling interpretation make him an in-demand performer". It will continue with 29 weeks of concerts, until the 31st October, a sequence of musical events, featuring musicians with undeniable skills.
If you are planning to go to Italy the coming summer and you love music, it would be great to pass by Ravello just to experience the Festival.
