Japan, new opportunities for Italian business

Made in Italy, food and beverage and e-commerce

The Italian Trade Commission has just released a new report highlighting several opportunities for Italian business in Japan. "Selling to Japan OnLine" is indeed showing the huge potential for Italian food and beverage sales through e-commerce channels.

It seems that high quality Made in Italy food is becoming a must in Japan, with more and more people interested in investing in it. The problem is that is seems that local consumers looking for Italian delicatessen are more keen to find them themselves, that's why they prefer to buy online what they like rather than going to a shop. Italian sellers should definitely adjust to that if they want to increase their presence on the local market.
