A new partnership between Italy and South Africa

The two countries agreed to strengthen their food & beverage connections

A few companies from South Africa have decided to join the Cibus 2014 event, while a Made in Italy pavilion will be available during "Big Seven", the agro alimentary forum in South Africa scheduled for June 2015.

South Africa is particularly strong in the agro alimentary sector, especially as wine, dressings, tomato, oil, grapes, pomegranate and corn productions are concerned. Accordingly, the country has a great potential to become an exporting partner for Italy, while the latter should focus on South Africa as a safe place for agro alimentary investments, remembering the role this country is playing as the engine of African economic development.
