Campus Party 2017 will be hosted in Milan

Italy opens its doors to the greatest technological experience in the world

Campus Party has been defined as the "greatest technological experience in the world". Campus Party is a festival devoted to innovation and creativity that gathers about 6000 young talented minds from different countries. The fields of interest are those ones connected to technology, entrepreneurship, coding, science, creativity and entertainment.

This year edition will be held in Milan from July 20 until 23. It is interesting to know that Campus Party was originally conceived in Spain and was immediately characterized by a great expansion: today it has achieved 60 editions hosted by 11 countries throughout the world. The event does not only works as a hub for young talented minds but also for universities, companies, institutions and communities who gather together to fulfil the main aim of the event: to show the best elements of the entire technological and innovative heritage linked to a specific country. And this year, it will be the Italian year with the theme #FeelTheFuture. The Campus will have three main areas. The experience area will be devoted to drones, robots and games also hosting digital makers and a Job factory; the camping area will be a place where all the campuseros (people taking part to the Campus for its entire length) can sleep in tents and the arena area animated by talks, panels, BarCamp, interviews and workshops. The Arena is also the place where the campuseros will work together.

Participants will be busy with 4 days of intense seminars, consisting of 400 hours of contents delivered h 24. Targeted speeches and workshops are usually given by eminent personalities, such as Neil Armstrong, Paulo Coelho and Steven Hawking. One of the great guests of this year edition will be the Italian physicist and inventor Federico Faggin.

Campus Party is not a mere summit but it is a place where solutions are provided to national actors who get from the event the support they need. In fact, one of the main advantages of Campus Party is the CPHack: an innovation competition aimed at selecting the best ideas and projects to solve real problems faced by companies and institutions.
