Italy presents new education site

A websites lists all university courses in the country

Minister Francesco Profumo has presented UniversItaly, a unified portal, realized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research in order  to support and facilitate the knowledge, choice and access to the Italian university system.

This is a project  offering  Italian and foreign students the access point to University formation, easy to use, it is provided with a simple and innovative navigation system , interaction with social networks and simple tools to compare  universities offer.

This new bilingual education site is aimed at facilitating and supporting students and their families in choosing University courses . It is also an attempt to open up Italian universities to international students.

UniversItaly is supposed to be a simple guide for students to get all useful information about University courses in order to make a more targeted choice.

On this education website, information regarding academies, conservatories and technical education courses will always be available and updated. Information can be selected through different subjects, regarding formation, geographical location or job opportunities.

UniversItaly will speak the students' language through the most popular networks such as Twitter, Facebook and Google maps as well,  to find out where the education centers are located and YouTube to present them visually.

This bilingual education site is also meant to be a vade mecum to foreign students  not only informing them about all available courses in the country, but also giving them a " Student- Friendly" picture of Italy.

This website has been realized with the collaboration of the Conference of Italian University  Rectors ( an association of the state and private universities,) Cineca, the Interuniversity Consortium and all Italian Universities.
