A short holiday on the Po river

The perfect destination for environmental, cultural and sports tourism

The River Po is, with its 652 km's, the longest river in Italy. Along its course, the river reaches 13 Provinces and 474 towns, a large area inhabited by 16 million people. The river is also a big attraction for environmental, cultural and sports tourism.

Thanks to the over 60 parks, wildlife reserves and facilities, Po River is an ideal scenario for biking, horse riding or sailing. A wide range of indoor attractions can be experienced as well: over 30 museums and villas dedicated to the river and its events.

The Po is internationally recognized as Italian most important river also for historical and economic reasons, as it represent the main source of water for most of the regions it passes through.
