È in corso a Sydney, in Australia, fino all’8 novembre, la XIX edizione di Sculpture By The Sea, la celebre mostra open air dedicata alla scultura che dal 1996 anima per alcune settimane i circa due chilometri di lungomare tra Tamarama a Bondi Beach, celeberrima spiaggia della città. Quest’anno le opere in esposizione sono 105, realizzate da artisti provenienti da 18 diversi Paesi.
Il premio Macquarie Group Sculpture Prize, del valore di 60.000 dollari australiani, è andato al tedesco Jörg Plickat, autore della scultura dal titolo divided planet.
