"Missione Egitto", a special exhibition in Turin

A a journey taking the visitor back in time to discover a never-seen-before Turin, Europe and Egypt

The Turin Egyptian Museum in Italy is the only museum other than the Cairo Museum that is dedicated solely to Egyptian art and culture.

If you have never been there before, this year would be the perfect year to visit this extraordinary museum: the "Missione Egitto" special exhibition, with more than 400 objects including finds, documents, letters, films, photographs and historic posters, will be on up to September the 10th: a magic show that will give all visitors some tips on how the time of archaeological discoveries looked like.

The exhibition is actually based on the activities of the Missione Archeologica Italiana (M.A.I.) and its founder Ernesto Schiaparelli in Egypt, in a journey that can take any visitor back in time to discover a never-seen-before Turin, Europe and Egypt.
