The Italian suitcase that follows the owner

The Italian company Piaggio is known all over the world for its beautiful Vespa scooter. Today, the Piaggio Fast Forward division of the company is about to launch a new product that is expected to revolutionize the way in which people travel even more than the Vespa did.

We are talking about Gita, the suitcase that can follow its owner (provided that the latter is wearing a special belt to indicate Gita where to go. At the moment, Gita bags can carry up to 18 kilos and use stereoscopic and fish-eye cameras to avoid obstacles. In the future, they are expected to "learn" how to move on their own, to be used for automatic delivery services. According to Time magazine, the commercial release has now been scheduled for 2018.
