Rome is getting ready for the Jubilee

Rome is working on a few minor details to finalize its preparation to welcome thousands of pilgrims from all over the world for 2015 Jubilee.

The Jubilee year will start on December the 8th, a day celebrating both the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and the 50th anniversary of the closing of the Second Vatican Council, and it will end on November the 20th.

For Christianity, the Jubilee represents a very special year for the remission of sins and universal pardon. This is a very old tradition dating back to 1300.

Many events will be organized in Rome during this time, and a useful calendar is what is needed to remain updated with what will happen in the Vatican City and beyond during the Jubilee.
