It probably sounds weird that fashion and architecture can match so perfectly to create new clothes reminding to the virtues of geometric figures together with the sinuosity of contemporary style and trends.

However, it is a matter of fact that the graphical and architectural mark is part of Mauro Gasperi's style and mood of his women collections. This Italian fashion designer grow up in the artistic high school in Brescia (near Milan), and despite his love or contemporary architecture, he decided to complete his studies specializing in fashion design and knitwear in Florence.

In 2008, his passion for architecture pushed him to open his own clothing line, through which he could use geometrical details to communicate his concept of femininity: "a renewed, cosmopolitan and urban one, with a casual, free and contemporary spirit".

Since then Mauro Gasperi succeeded in developing a collection made of clean and essential cuts, immediate constructions and intentional contrast both in materials and colors, offering a total look which is currently distributed in several stores in Italy and abroad.

Borrowing from architecture the concept of sculpting, the Italian fashion artist describes his work as "an ability to scuplt and create shapes and silhouettes on new materials", aimed at producing an "easy-to-wear collection for a fashionable woman who takes  attention on details of style".

Mauro Gasperi belongs to a new generation of Italian young designers who is reinventing creativity. From his perspective, it is the contrast between geometry and fluidity to create beauty. Cuts, drilled and clean lines alternate in pieces with new kinds of proportions, suitable for chic and contemporary woman seeking for a rational, clean and minimal silhouette. Something that can be perfect for work, simple and easy to wear, and also nice for joining a friend for a cocktail after leaving the office.
