238 fotografie che ripercorrono le tappe del lavoro del grande fotografo statunitense, scomparso prematuramente nel 1984, a 56 anni. New York e il Bronx, il New Mexico e Los Angeles, Winogrand racconta l'America
dalla ripresta economica post-bellica sino agli anni Ottanta. Scatti di vita vissuta e istantanee che colgono l’attimo. Donne impellicciate e buffi animali. Coppie mature e gruppi di giovani. Strade e marciapiedi. Celebrità e perfetti sconosciuti. Un mix di bellezza, gioia, amarezza e ironia. Proprio come la vita. L’esposizione parigina è un viaggio alla scoperta dell'immensa produzione del "maestro", che alla sua morte lascio' un numero incredibile di immagini (molte non ancora sviluppate), una selezione delle quali sarà, a breve, in mostra al "Jeu de Paume"
