Why Spiaggia della Pelosa and costa Smeralda are a must

As it was recently reminded by the Hong Kong daily South China Morning Post, top 10 beach lists are subjective things.

However, when looking at favourite destinations in Europe, it seems lots of people agree on one point: Sardinia is the best place to go.

“The Italian island has enough sublime stretches of squeaky sand to keep any self-respecting beach lover happy for weeks”. Spiaggia della Pelosa often turns out to be an unforgettable place “with colours so swimming pool-like that you could almost smell chlorine”. Alternatively, “if you have money to burn, join rock stars, oligarchs and footballers on Sardinia’s glitzy Costa Smeralda, where there are dozens of achingly beautiful beaches to enjoy. Take a towel, sun cream and a yacht”.
