Italy is investing in a new generation of digital startuppers

The Cattolica University will host a highly specialized course from September to November 2015

The chance to re-invent a job is given by the executive course in Digital Startupper, organized by Alta Scuola in Media Comunicazione e Spettacolo (Training School in Media Communication) together with the venture incubator Digital Magicsand the co-working network Talent Garden.

The Cattolica University in Milan will host the course, which is mainly devoted to 15 people satisfying a number of requirements.

Firstly, they need to have accomplished a degree, masters or even a bachelor is enough. Moreover, they need to present a draft project containing the guidelines of their entrepreneurial idea in maximum 15 pdf slides. An ad hoc committee will then assess the proposals on September 14th.

The best project will be supported by Digital Magics and will become a new business while the second and the third best ideas will be sponsored within the specific market.

Certainly, this initiative is aimed at fostering the development of new original startups in Italy, providing new jobs and new inputs for the whole economic system. "Providing a highly specialized course on digital startups means to present a unique offer on the market, enriched by innovation and professional skills" commented Nicoletta Vittadini, the scientific director of the course.

With regard to the program, the course involves coaching activities and guided work. It will last from September  25th until November 21st 2015 and entails in 102 hours divided into Fridays and Saturdays classes lasting for 9 weeks. The topics are organized into six modules, dealing with startups management, startups ecosystem access and structure, outset and boost of a digital startup, communication, a case study and business game.

In order to participate to the selection, candidates should apply online on the website within the deadline, scheduled for the 10th September 2015. Participants should also send their CV and project to the following address: almed@unicatt.it. The 15 confirmed candidates only then have to pay 2500 Euros as fees for the whole training course.
