Microsoft contro Apple, la sfida continua ed è ormai a tutto campo: sistemi operativi, smartphone, tablet, assistenti vocali e ora anche negozi fisici. A guardare l’ultimo mega store inaugurato da Microsoft nel cuore di New York vien proprio da pensare che dalle parti di Redmond qualcuno stia studiando a fondo il modello olistico di Apple per creare un'alternativa quasi speculare.

Ecco allora che il negozio diventa qualcosa di più di un semplice punto vendita, un vero e proprio centro esperienziale grazie al quale i clienti - o i semplici curiosi - possano entrare in contatto con tutto il mondo Microsoft, dal nuovo Surface ai dispositivi Lumia, dalla Xbox One agli accessori. Singolare, ma probabilmente non casuale, il fatto che la nuova struttura sia stata collocata proprio sulla Fifth Avenue, a pochi passi da quello che è forse il più famoso degli attuali 456 Apple Store sparsi per il mondo.
