Institute of Fine Italian Wines promoting Italian wine-making tradition

Thanks to the determination and enthusiasm of nineteen of the most important Italian wineries, the "Institute of Fine Italian Wines - Premium Brands" has become a master in commercialising while promoting the culture of Italian high quality wine all over the world.

Italian wine is globally considered a synonymous for quality and style, and this Institute is gathering the most prestigious and innovative wineries of Italian ancient wine-making tradition. Indeed, beyond sponsoring the peculiarities of their region, all families and brands represented by the Institute guarantee very high standards in terms of products as well as brand image at both national and international levels.

Among them, it is worth quoting Alois Lageder, Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, Antinori, Argiolas, Biondi Santi Tenuta Greppo, Ca' del Bosco, Carpenè Malvolti, Donnafugata, Gaja, Jermann, Lungarotti, Masi, Mastroberardino, Michele Chiarlo, Pio Cesare, Rivera, Tasca d'Almerita, Tenuta San Guido, and Umani Ronchi.

Aimed at giving direction and incisiveness to the development of quality Italian wine and brands, as well as organising and developing training and educational activities able to further promote Italian wine culture, the Institute launched one year ago a course for  aspiring Masters of Italian Wines.

Despite their tough selection, as candidates are requested to hold a qualification in the field of enology, and to prove they have at least 5 years of experience in the sector, both first and second editions had a great success. Actually, considering that only a few among aspiring Masters of Italian Wines can be selected to follow an even stricter programme of training and assessment in order to attain the title of Master of Wine and join a select community of just 300 members in the entire world, the Institute course cannot weaken its application criteria. The Members of the Institute know that, and they are happy to notice they have become a reference point for learning wine-related skills.
