Holidays in Italy, here is where tourists go in October

It seems that more and more tourists are interested in planning their holidays in Italy, with hotel prices rising accordingly, at the seaside as well as in the mountains.

According to the trivago Hotel Price Index (tHPI) elaborated by trivago.it, the world's biggest hotel search website, the rate charged daily for a hotel room raised of 65 per cent in the Bellaria-Igea Marina area (Adriatic Cost of Emilia Romagna), compared to September prices. Cesenatico prices increased of 38 per cent, while in Sardinia, they rised of 11 per cent in Golfo degli Aranci, 16 per cent in Porto Cervo, 103 per cent at Elba and 42 per cent at Ischia. In the mountains, room rates raised in Madonna di Campiglio (+64%), Courmayeur (+29%), Livigno (+28%), Cortina d'Ampezzo(+13%), and

(+104%).
