Introducing Brandon Ferrari, an Italian multimillion Start-up

A four million Euro turnover expected by the end of 2014

Paola Marzario founded Brandon Ferrari in August 2012, and by the end of 2013 she already registered a 2.7 million Euro turnover. Now, with the end of 2014 approaching, updated forecasts have estimated that this innovative distributor of Italian brands will meet its 4 million target.

Considering these results, it is not surprising that Brandon Ferrari entered this year the top ten of Italian multimillion start-ups: more than 2,700 companies were considered by Italian Ministry of Economic Development for the ranking, and Marzario's one showed up among winners.

Brandon Ferrari is an online distributor of various products accompanying and supporting Italian companies interested in exploiting the potential of e-commerce to sell their products online. In particular, after a careful selection of renowned or high-potential Italian brands, the Italian start-up advertises "catalogue sales" on their behalf across worldwide e-commerce websites. This includes selling available products for a period of six months to one year, and leading "flash sales" campaigns - promotional sales with selected products sold for 3-7 days at 40?70% discounted prices.

One of the main reasons why more and more companies have decided to explore e-markets with the help of Brandon Ferrari is related to the start-up practice of supporting them with ad hoc analyses of every business process, by identifying the most suitable e-commerce strategies for them, and by guaranteeing minimum sales targets over a one-year period. As Paola Marzario explains, "introducing a company in the e-commerce marketplace is not an easy task, as not all retailers satisfy the necessary requirements. It is a significant challenge both on a logistics and communication level. The various business processes need to be coordinated, ranging from production to logistics, marketing, and communications".

Leading trades for now are fashion and home & living, followed by kids and food & wine. In 2013 Brandon Ferrari managed over 500 campaigns in approximately 17 countries for the exclusive sales of over 60 brands, including Byblos, Kaos, Marinella, Caffè Vergnano, Moleskine, Smemoranda and Venini.

Brandon Ferrari is a new, smart, innovative and young start-up, whose strength and enthusiasm comes from a staff of a 26-year age average, which includes 70 per cent of women. Keeping this in mind, it is not surprising to learn that by the end of 2014, the company will be the first European online distributor using an innovative plug?and?play digital platform that will "industrialize" distribution. Digital retailers will have independent access to sales campaigns, and suppliers of Italian brands will be able to directly and autonomously upload their catalogues and products for worldwide distribution via Brandon Ferrari's e-commerce website network.
