Golden Child «Aura» is expanding worldwide

After wrapping up their US tour and visiting the UK for the MIK Festival, Golden Child became a well-known reality in the K-pop industry. Daeyeol, Y, Jangjun, Tag, Seungmin, Jaehyun, Jibeom, Donghyun, Joochan, and Bomin, have proven their global influence has returned with their 6th mini-album AURA. The album consists of 6 distinct tracks, showing Golden Child’s power and charisma.

Panorama had a quick chat with them.

Nice to talk with you again, boys. Have you been well?

Jibeom: Of course! We continued to practice during our break before the comeback and also kept communicating with our Goldenness fans from aborad.

Donghyun: Yes! It’s an honor to be back with you guys. We kept ourselves busy for the comeback.

You are back with your sixth mini album: Aura. Can you tell us more about it?

Joochan: ‘Aura’ is out 6th mini album consisted of 6 tracks. All the songs were considered ‘title-worthy’ from our members so the quality of the songs are assured.

The title track is Replay. The beat is incredible. Jangjun, TAG, you co-written it and TAG you also co-produced it. What does this song mean to you?

TAG: It is a song that proves Golden Child is standing strong, which is why I paid a lot of attention to the arrangement and various other parts.

I want to talk about the b-tracks of this album: which song is your favorite and why?

Seungmin: I would choose ‘Knocking On My Door.’ The song gives me a good vibe and I enjoyed listening to it even during the recording process.

The Replay MV is really powerful. Which is the story behind it?

Y: I think it's the group dance of the members. The perfection of group dance moves and it’s harmony is what brings power to the performance.

Do you have any funny behind the scene to share with us?

Donghyun: There was a shooting of a group scene for the music video, and one time we just couldn’t hold our laughters.

Jaehyun: We enjoyed our coffee on a coffee truck!

You were in the US, then you visited the UK for the MIK festival. Would you like to perform in Italy?

Bomin: If there’s a chance, we will definitely be there!

Y: Blood, sweat, and tears
