Claudia Astarita 6 Ottobre 2015 – Lettura: 1 minuto The new Guinness World Record recognized during the Milan Hobby Show The imposing cake has the shape of Italian Peninsula and its islands. The dimensions tell us about its magnificence: 16.46 m long, 13.94 m wide, the gourmand creation occupies a surface of more than 244 squared meters. Entirely made of sponge, covered with frosting and decorated with the monuments symbols of the most popular Italian cities, it seems very representative of the Bel Paese. After its cut, 12.000 portions were offered to the visitors of Hobby Show, an event hosted by Milan Fair. It was certainly a hard task to make it. About 300 cake designers and confectioners worked on it for four long days, but the final result was definitely worth it. Follow @castaritaHK © Riproduzione Riservata
