The beauties of the Amalfi Coast and the Salento Peninsula

The aroma of lemons, the raw material for unique sweets and liqueurs, leads us to a real corner of paradise, the Amalfi Coast. Here are to be found the charming towns of Castellammare di Stabia, with its archaeological sites, Vico Equense, Sorrento and its stunning 14th century cathedral, Positano, Amalfi and its Arabo-Norman style vathedral, Ravello and Vietri sul Mare.

On the Salento Peninsula, a beautiful area just out between the Bay of Taranto on the Ionian Sea and the Channel of Otranto on the Adriatic Sea, is also a little paradise made of vineyards, olive groves, beautiful beaches and colours. The Salento Peninsula is also famous for its cultural attractions, such as the cities of Lecce (the so-called Florence of the South), Leuca, Gallipoli, San Cataldo and of course Otranto, with its 11th century cathedral and a stunning Aragonese castle.
