Roma celebrating soccer legend Francesco Totti

Soccer legend Francesco Totti bid farewell to his team Roma after a 25-years career with his hometown club on Sunday, during a match that Roma won 3-2 win over Genoa.

Totti made his debut at the age of 16, in a Serie A match against Brescia on March 28, 1993, and quickly became the captain and the most recognizable player in his team. Totti scored 307 goals in 786 appearances for Roma, including 250 in Serie A. He also led Roma to a league title, two Coppa Italia crowns and two Italian Super Cups, and the Italian national team to the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany. "I am happy and proud to have given 28 years of my love to Roma. I love you!", Totti said concluding his farewell speech in front of 60,000 fans inside the Stadio Olimpico.
