Con questo reportage, il fotografo Ian Forsyth ci racconta la vita quotidiana della famiglia Owen nella fattoria Ravenseat , situata vicino a Kirkby Stephen, in una delle zone più remote del parco nazionale britannico North Yorkshire Moors , sulla costa nord orientale dell'Inghilterra, a circa un'ora di cammino a ovest di Keld, il punto a metà strada sul sentiero che congiunge le due coste britanniche, nella contea del North Yorkshire.
Qui i coniugi Amanda e Clive vivono e lavorano nella fattoria, in un'area collinare nella valle del fiume Swale, circondati da paesaggi tra i più suggestivi del Regno Unito, occupandosi, oltre che dei loro 7 figli - Raven (13 anni), Reuben (10), Edith (5), Miles (7), Violet (3), Sydney (2) e Annas (9 mesi) - di portare avanti le attività della loro azienda agricola, procedendo al ritmo delle stagioni, allevando oltre 900 pecore, che ora stanno ora entrando nella stagione dei parti, ma anche cavalli, mucche e galline, su terreni di circa 8 chilometri quadrati.
