A fuoco la basilica di Nantes: le foto dell'incendio

Divampato intorno alle 10.30, quando era appena iniziata la messa, un violento incendio ha distrutto il tetto d'ardesia della basilica neogotica di Saint Donatien a Nantes, capoluogo della Loira Atlantica, nell'ovest della Francia. Per fortuna i fedeli sono subito riusciti a guadagnare le vie d'uscita e non ci sono stati feriti.

Stando ai primi accertamenti, l'incendio è stato di natura accidentale, probabilmente causato da un'imprudenza degli operai che stavano lavorando sul tetto della basilica ottocentesca, situata nel quartiere Malakoff della città ed eretta sul luogo in cui già sorgeva una chiesa fin dal quinto secolo.
