Sono 46 le vittime delle alluvioni che hanno colpito il Myanmar, dove oltre 200.000 persone sono rimaste senza casa, secondo quanto riferisce la Protezione civile locale.

Le piogge monsoniche di forte intensità hanno causato piene e frane che hanno distrutto abitazioni, colture, ponti e strade.

Più colpita è la regione centro-occidentale del Paese, dove è stato dichiarato lo stato di calamità naturale. Anche in India, Nepal, Pakistan e Vietnam nei giorni scorsi si sono contati centinaia di morti per le alluvioni.
