MTV Video Music Awards: Taylor Swift replica a Nicki Minaj

A poche ore dall’annuncio delle nomination ai prossimi MTV Video Music Awards, che si terranno al Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles il prossimo 30 agosto con la conduzione di Miley Cyrus, è già scoppiata la polemica via Twitter tra Nicki Minaj, esclusa dalla rosa di nomi per il premio più ambito, quello di "Video dell'Anno", e la collega-amica Taylor Swift, in gara per la statuetta con Bad Blood.

Pur non nominandola direttamente, il cinguettio della rapper di origini caraibiche è chiaramente rivolto all’ex stella del country americano, oggi convertita al pop mainstream: “Se il tuo video celebra donne molto snelle, allora lo nominano Video dell'Anno”. La Swift ha prontamente risposto: “Io non ho fatto nulla se non volerti bene e sostenerti. Non è da te mettere le donne una contro l'altra. Forse il posto del tuo video è stato preso dal video di un uomo…”.

Qui è chiaro il riferimento agli altri tre nominati per il Moonman, Ed Sheeran per Thinking Out Loud, Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars per Uptown Funk e Kendrick Lamar per Alright. 

La Minaj ha subito deposto le armi e ha ribadito il suo affetto per la collega, senza rinunciare a un pizzico di pepe nell’ultima frase: "Eh? Forse non hai letto i miei tweet. Non ho scritto una parola contro di te. Anch'io ti voglio bene. Ma su questo argomento dovresti prendere posizione".

Taylor, da giovane ma già navigata donna di spettacolo, ne è uscita alla grande: "Facciamo così: se vinco io, dai, vieni su con me a ritirare il premio! Sei sempre invitata su qualsiasi palco sul quale ci sia io".

Come si dice nel gergo tennistico: gioco, partita, incontro.
