Duran Duran: a settembre il nuovo album "Paper Gods"
Il tour della band inglese inizierà il 20 giugno a Barcellona
I Duran Duran, band-simbolo degli anni Ottanta con oltre 100 milioni di dischi venduti in 37 anni di carriera, hanno annunciato via Twitter il titolo del nuovo album Paper Gods, che uscirà in Europa l'11 settembre per la Warner Bros, un ritorno a casa con la loro etichetta storica.
Il quattordicesimo disco della band guidata da Simon Le Bon, curato da produttori del calibro di Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson e Mr. Hudson, sarà anticipato dal singolo Pressure off, con la partecipazione della talentuosa Janelle Monae, una delle cantautrici più interessanti della nuova scena black, non a caso è una delle pupille di Prince.
Tra gli ospiti dell’album spiccano i nomi di Kiesza e dell'ex Red Hot Chili Peppers John Frusciante.
Sono state annunciate anche le 25 date del tour che vedrà impegnati, dal 20 giugno al 12 dicembre, i Duran Duran tra Europa e Stati Uniti.
Per ora non sono previsti concerti in Italia ma, conoscendo l’amore del Belpaese per il quartetto britannico formato da Simon Le Bon, John Taylor, Nick Rhodes e Roger Taylor, potrebbe saltare fuori una data anche da noi. Vi terremo informati.
