Panettone recipe, a Milanese staple

In Italy, during winter holidays, it is impossible not to talk about Panettone. Although it is true that this dessert is widely known abroad but few know its real recipe, the origins of this Italian Christmas cake belongs to Lombardy.

With a receipe including very popular products such as flour, eggs, sugar and milk flavored with raisins and candied fruit, Panettone looks like a very easy dessert to prepare. However, it is definitely not the case considering the the patience and care needed for it to leaven.
