Milan launching the first sustainable coffee

Coffee is served in recyclable and biodegradable cups that can be thrown away right after use

Mi Gelato&Caffè is a new bar that was inaugurated a couple of weeks ago in Milan. Differently from many other bar of the Italian fashion capital, Mi Gelato&Caffè has decided to show the city that anybody can do something to preserve the environment, even a restaurant.

They are indeed serving their coffees in recyclable and biodegradable cups that can be thrown away right after use, avoiding any waste of water and energy, while respecting the environment.

Although it is probably too early to quantify the impact of such an initiative in terms of environmental preservation, it goes without saying that any development that goes in this direction should be praised.
