Italy’s Heels among Lonely Planet Best Places to Go in 2014
In the new ranking Italy’s heel got the 6th position thanks to its relaxing atmosphere and delicious food
As it is used to do every year, the Lonely Planet has recently released its own list about the best places to visitin that particular year. This year, Italy ranked 6th on this list, after Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Portugal, Nicaragua, and the Greek Islands.
Among Italian merits, the largest and most famous travel guide book publisher in the world mentioned that in Italy, one can go to Venice and the Amalfi Coast and spend a ton of money; but also head to Puglia, Basilicata and Calabria, the Italy's Heel, for more budget-friendly options, equally delicious eats and a relaxed pace.
