Italy, the best country for travelling

A new list recognizing Italy’s attractiveness for holidays and food

Italy has just been awarded as the best country to travel to. The magazine International Traveller recently launched a survey asking its readers to indicate their favourite destinations and the adventures they are dreaming when they think about their future trips.

Italy got a gold medal in the section "best country in the world to travel in", followed by the United States, France, New Zealand, Canada, Vietnam, Japan, Thailand, England and Turkey. Italy also got a second medal, a silver one, for the section "Best place for food and wine". France came first, and Spain, New Zealand and Singapore entered the top five.
