Italian Style Town in Tianjin, China

The once Italian concession is becoming more and more Italian

The Chinese city of Tianjin hosts an Italian Style Town that was built at the time in with the city was transformed into an Italian concession (1901-1947), which was the only one of its kind in the world.

Thanks to well-preserved fences and beautiful old buildings, Tianjin has always been described as a Chinese city with a special and unique Italian touch.

Today, Tianjin has become even more Italian, offering its tourists the chance to taste real pizza, pasta and Italian snacks. Further, the town regularly features Italian style performances, as well as an Italian clothes and handicrafts exhibition.
