Italian fashion icons introducing a new generation of fashion artists

Armani and Dolce & Gabbana have done it already, and new brands will follow, soon

This year Milan fashion week is confirming a new trend in the Italian luxury market: big household names are giving more space to young talents.

The news was reported by The Guardian, that explained how the names that have dominated Milan fashion week for so long are more and more often backed up by a new generation of fashion artists and their "youthful vigour".

Armani, for example, introduced the new label Stella Jean, designed by 34-year-old Stella Novarino. Dolce & Gabbana, instead, just opened a new store, Piave 37, stocking  Ten of the 23 designers chosen are Italian. And it is almost sure that many other fashion icons will soon follow their example.
