Italian cars on show in Melbourne

The Italian Auto Icons Collection opens on Saturday, in Melbourne

The historic Italian district in Melbourne, Australia, known as Lygon Street, will host on Sunday an extraordinary collection of Italian cars. It is called "The Italian Auto Icons Collection", and it includes a wide range of rare, classic, vintage, early and current models of Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari, Lancia, Maserati and Lamborghini.

From 9 am to 2 pm, everybody will have the chance to have a walk through Italian cars masterpieces. These fifty cars, together with a few models of Vespa and Ducati, have been made available by private owners and local automobile clubs.

To celebrate Maserati's 100th anniversary, a rare 1965 right hand drive Maserati Mistral Spider Convertible will be on stage, and it is worth remembering that the Italian iconic luxury brand has put on the market only two of its models.
