Tornabuoni Art inaugurates its new space in Le Marais district
Tornabuoni Art opened in a new space in Paris on the 2nd February 2017 with a retrospective show dedicated to Alighiero Boetti. The Italian Gallery, which specializes in post-war art and has outposts in London, Florence and Crans-Montana, chose the fashionable district of Le Marais and launched the new space with the largest-ever retrospective to be held in a private gallery of the tapestries and embroideries of Boetti, whose quotations on international markets have often exceeded 1 million Euros.
According to the director of the gallery, Michele Casamonti, "Tornabuoni continues to receive sophisticated international collectors here, especially Americans, and Paris's museums and curators have always been very good to us". With a portfolio that includes famous Italian masters such as Carla Accardi, Piero Dorazio, Maurizio Cattelan and Mimmo Paladino, Tornabuoni is very likely to attract more and more French art-lovers.
