In praise of Emilia Romagna's food

A great chance to taste Prosciutto di Parma, Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar

The Guardian recently published an unusual list mentioning 10 of the best foodie experiences in Europe, offering tips on possible mouth-watering trips across Europe that would be worth savouring.

Moving from Greece to Span, from France to Portugal, without bypassing northern European country, the British magazine found some space for an "Italian experience" as well.

This would start indulging "in some of the richest, most delicious foods found in the Emilia-Romagna region and the cities of Parma, Modena and Bologna", that is Prosciutto di Parma, Parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. "The self-guided driving tour includes visits to producers of these culinary delicacies, along with beautiful villages and Byzantine churches, with the option to continue your journey across the Po Delta and end the trip with two nights in Venice".

If you are looking for some special food adventure, it would be good to give this itinerary a try.
