Foreing voices commenting on Italian economy

From positive to negative insights. Here is how Europe and the world see Italy

Because of the consequences of the global financial crisis, as it is happening all over the world, it is still difficult to state whether Italy is on track in terms of recovery or not. It is a matter of fact that even the Italian government in Rome just decided to change 2014 economic forecast for the worst. Accordingly, it may be useful to quote some intersting readings about what is happening in Italy right now.

Some negatives views are available on Project Syndicate, where Federico Fubini describes Italy as the Europe's Japan, while some positive insights are available on the Wall Street Journal, reminding that "Istat Chief Sees Small Signs of Itaian Economic Recovery". Finally,  and the Irish Examinerstresses the importance of the recent EU officials warn recommending Italy "not to let politics ruin recovery."
