How to experience truffle hunt and truffle based delicatessen in Australia
Australia is ready to enjoy the new edition of Canberra Region's 2016 Truffle Festival. From June 1st until August the 31st, the Australian capital will host over 250 individual events to honour the rare Black Winter Truffle.
For two months, several restaurants and cafés in Canberra will add a wide range of truffle dishes to their menus to allow people to enjoy the flavours and aromas of the Black Winter Truffle. Chefs and other truffle experts will also host a series of cooking classes and demonstrations.
Beyond that, to give people the chance to experience black truffle from paddock to plate, evocative truffle hunts will be organized at one of the region's truffle farms and watch the highly skilled dogs search for and unearth truffles.
