E-Tailers 2015, Italian ideas for the digital sector

Here is what the country has to offer in terms of technology and innovation

The call for ideas devoted to Retail Innovation, E-Commerce, Mobile Commerce, Payment Systems and Innovative Logistic Solutions, E-Tailers, eventually came to an end for its 2015 edition. Its main promoters were Digital Magics - the popular Italian business incubator- and TalentGarden, the biggest co-working European network focused on the digital sector.

The winners were all active on line but in different realms. For instance, Italy's Got Style would be the first Made in Italy luxury e-boutique entirely devoted to Middle East. It won a mentoring session with the RSC NEST team, a digital incubator.

PayPerShopping is a web platform that allows you to buy groceries on line and have them delivered on the same day on the purchase. It won 2500 Euros in products on the PrestaShop marketplace, along with a mentoring session with the RSC NEST team.

Wearitaly is the third winner. An e-commerce platform, mostly selling Made in Italy clothing. As PayPerShopping, it won 2500 Euros of products on the PrestaShop marketplace plus one year of free advertising on Zanox Circuit.

Macingo.com was also a winning name. It is a web platform allowing private customers as well as companies the purchase of any kind of bulky goods (like cars, boats, motorbykes, etc) in an easy way, such as via airplane. In particular, Macingo is very active in the realm of transports and today it counts 600 registered transport companies satisfying more than 2000 monthly demands of transport.

The well-known IBM was also part of E-Tailers and offered the finalists the opportunity to access IBM's programs for startups and to get credits to use on the IBM Cloud. Furthemore, greater attention will be devoted to 2Pay, an innovative app connecting mobile payment to marketing.

Finally, it is worth mentioning E-Tailers' jury. It was made up by Digital Magics' partners (such as Antonello Carlucci and Layla Pavone), along with some representatives of Prestashop, TAG Innovation School, IBM, Ninja Marketing and Zanox.
