An Italian app to deal with electric appliances and save energy

Almadom.us is an innovative startup aimed at substituting old switches with technological tools

The venture incubator Digital Magics has recently launched the innovative startup Almadom.us. Founded by Marco Zanchi and Alessandro Benedetti, the new startup it is based on a new system of home automation, which controls lights, thermostats, plugs and valves, after being inserted in the electric box. This invention shakes up the traditional way to deal with electric appliances in the house. In fact, touchscreens, smartphones, tablets, PCs and vocal commands can eventually replace old switches.

Almadom.us was firstly conceived for small and medium apartments and its primary aim is to save money reducing yearly electricity and gas bill. Another advantage is related to the fact that the device is all-in-one and does not require special works of installation within the house.
