Italy, a Coil & Winding sector with distinction

Colitech 2013 is going to gather in Pordenone A-level exhibitors in the industry

At the end of September Pordenone, a beautiful city in the north of Italy, near Padova and Venezia, will host Coiltech 2013, an International Coil & Winding Expo and Conference.

This two days event, starting on Septermber 25th, is focused on materials, machinery and equipment for the production and maintenance of electric motors, generators, alternators as well as power distribution and industrial transformers.

Launched in 2010 to highlight Italian potential in the Coil & Winding sector, Colitech is expected to gather in Pordenone the leading companies in this industry from all over the world. Last year a record of presence was achieved with visitors coming from 22 different nations, and recent estimates based on pre-registration data shows that the interest for Colitech has further increased, with 50% more exhibitors, most of them coming from abroad. An increase that further confirm Italian prestige in this industry.

Together with the exhibition, a conference has been organized with the help of Professor Marco Villani, from the University of L'Aquila. Prof Villani is a specialist for Electrical Machines Design. Titled "Magnetic World", Colitech Conference contributes to raise the importance of the event offering both visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to update their knowledge about innovation of materials, methods and technologies for the improvement of efficiency in production, distribution, transformation and consumption of energy.

The last news of Colitech 2013 edition is the "Coiltech Energy Efficiency Award" for the company that will prove it has hired the highest number of young people in their energy efficiency branches.

Among European, if not International Coil Winding exhibitions, the Italian one is one of the best in terms of visitor-exhibitor ratio, exhibitor-retention rate and cost-per-contact value. For those interested in joining the event, it is worth knowing that the compact show format allows a complete overview and visit within a single day, without limiting the chance to discuss projects with potential partners and suppliers. Finally, beyond being located in the heart of one of Europe's most interesting areas for the Coil and Winding industry, Pordenone is also very well connected with low-cost flights, intercity trains, and motorways.
