Lanieri: the first Italian fashionbrand using bitcoins

A new opening towards cryptocurrency

Lanieri is the first male fashion ecommerce 100% Made in Italy now accepting transactions in bitcoins. Lanieri was founded by Simone Maggi and Riccardo Schiavotto in 2011. The company only uses the best wools created by the best producers, such as Reda, Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Vitale Berberis Canonico and many more. The company is very unique in Italy, offering its clients the chance to buy online but also to see its products in person and to shop offline in many ateliers. Today, Lanieri operates in 50 countries around the world and has become the first Italian fashiontech brand able to support cryptocurrency among the payment methods accepted.

The goal of the company is to acquire new international and technologically mature clients, who consider the luxury market as a chance to spend their bitcoins and to invest in valuable goods. The cryptocurrency is worth about $3.800 and has a capitalization of about $65 billion; nevertheless, it is not very stable and it is often affected by oscillations.

Despite the bitcoins instability, several people have invested in the new currency and they now look for new investment opportunities. Lanieri wants to be a recipient of these investments: "we want to provide clothing to the new global generation of 'smart nerd' entrepreneurs and managers leading the technological revolution now taking place in each sector", Simone Maggi commented as CEO and cofounder of Lanieri.

Lanieri's clients will be now able to order their tailored items online, made with the best Made in Italy fabrics in a very fast, safe and immediate way. It is possible to buy bitcoins in Lanieri.com and in its ateliers in Italy and Europe simply by selecting bitcoins in the payment options. The user will then receive the instructions to access his/her virtual wallet.
