Ermenegildo Zegna won his counterfeiting case with China

The Italian brand will receive a compensation of 290,000 Euro

Good news for the Italian brand Ermenegildo Zegna. The Guanzhou tribunal has finally issued its verdict, asking the Chinese company Guangzhou Fuyn to immediately stop counterfeiting Ermenegildo Zegna's products as well as to offer the Italian brand a compensation of 290,000 Euro for the damage they have created them with their illicit practice.

According to Zegna, in 2011 the Chinese group started commercializing a series of products using names and logos very similar to the ones employed by the Italian brand. It is not the first time that Chinese companies try to copy Italian goods, but at least in this case the People's Republic of China judicial system promptly punished the crime.
