The good news was issued by Wine2wine, Vinitaly (International Wine Exposition held in Verona) Observatory, after having interviewed 400 Italian wine companies. More than 36,5% of the survey participants declared that their turnover increased on the national market. All of them see the direct selling as a very important element to get to know their clients and having them as "regulars".
For this reason, companies give great importance to marketing, especially through social media, which became the new gateway to consumers from all over the world.
As a result, no wonder to see Italian Wine "big names" on Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus, promoting their brands and products. And it seems to work pretty well considering that on Instagram, ashtags "Vinitaly and Vinitaly2015" have been mentioned over 16.000 times.
