Al & Ro rubber-rimmed glasses might become the new Italian fashion must

They have been praised as a tribute to change, mold, shape and transform, as “innovative sun lenses to look towards the future”

You might consider it a funny and useless product, but it is not! Al & Ro rubber-rimmed glasseshave already been praised as a tribute to change, mold, shape and transform, as a "brilliant and innovative idea: the real sun lenses to 'avant-garde' and looking towards the future".

They are unbreakable, which is something that every client can verify before buying his or her new pair of glass by shaking, twisting, stretching, and throw them on the floor. And they are also appealing for their colours, style, softness and lightweight. Moreover, they are so flexible that they can perfectly adapt to the shape of the face of the wearer, and they cost only Euro 80.

There are two models available, "square" and "drop". The colour range is quite wide, lenses are interchangeable, and it is curious that the texture of the material also varies, as if it was aimed to recreate the feeling of "touching the colour", with a "rough and matte" peach or a "smooth and shiny" plum.

Behind Al & Ro there are two brothers, Alessio e Rosetta Santoiemma, born in Abruzzo, who recently took part to White Milano, the Italian international contemporary fashion showcase, as well as a cultural reference for the new generations of designers, stylists and artists. They all see the event as an ideal stage for innovative fashion companies recognizing themselves in the "White" character, which is a symbol of creativity, harmony and eco-ethical commitment.

According to them, Al & Ro stands for "fashion, trend, research and good taste", representing a "new way of thinking and living style, colours, materials" using "innovative and hyper-technological materials". Al & Ro are also the meeting point of two different worlds and personalities, with "Al" implying "creativity, talent, design and technology research", and "Ro" "trend, fashion, attention to details, and love for beauty".

The brand is 100% Made in Italy, but it is already on its way to become a global icon for Italian fashion.
